Top the brie with chutney, wrap the whole thing in puff pastry and bake until pastry is done. Leave to stand for 10 mins then enjoy!0

:hello:
Short-dated cheese was very cheap in Morrisons yesterday, so I've ended up with a lot.
360g brie £2.25 to 39p.
312g feta £3.05 to 49p.
170g St Agur (soft blue) £2.19 to 39p. :money:
What the hell am I going to do with it all? The freezer's rammed, so it really needs using. I can probably cope with the brie & St Agur, but feta? I've only ever seen it in salads and even then it's not the greatest cheese in the world, is it? There are no mentions of feta in the leftover cheese thread, so any ideas? And not salad; I'm a bloke!
I was going to make a cauli cheese later this week, but my guests won't like the blue cheese in it. Would brie work? Some brie and something else? I'll probably end up just snacking on the blue until it's gone, but it's a lot of brie.
I bought some sticky toffee cheese again too, so more cheesy apple crumble on the way at some point. :drool:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Spanakopita! Tyropita!
Go Greek, it's their cheese after all. Mix it with herbs and wrap in filo for tyropita. Mix with spinach then wrap in filo for spanakopita. You can make small ones which are called -pitakia
They're lovely.
