Non-online o2 contracts do, the main reason I always try and keep an o2 contract
Oh, and the free ITS on the o2 200 tariff.
Cheers, Des.
In the thread i mentioned earlier above KAI 666 says they are included in the online payg tariffs !!!!

Sorry, I was talking about online contracts, but I was wrong about that

they don't seem to know what they offer-
see http://www.o2.co.uk/shop/faq.html implies otherwise
although I know my dealer (CPW) based 02 contract allows 0870 as part of my contract, and I have an email from 02 that says
"In all our monthly tariffs, calls to 0800 are included in the free allowance if the first zero is removed. Calls to 0845 and 0870 are also included free in the inclusive allowance."Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -
@DesG - can't say if it's always been that way for the numbers but it's definitely there now - the ITS i think has always been there. if you use texts at all then it's almost certainly worth taking an online tariff over an offline one i'd say. the very sensible and handy thing about o2 (did i just say sensible and o2 in a sentence) is that they allow MMS messages to be used out of the allowance too (uses 4 SMS to send 1 MMS) and what with the newer better quality cameras coming out that could be a bonus. probably means they'll change it soon then

I sent an email to O2 asking if 0845/0870 numbers were included in the 100 minutes call allowance for the 'Talkalot with Calls and Messages' tariff and if not how much do they charge for calls to these numbers. They replied with the following:-
"0845/0870 numbers are not included in the 100 minutes call allowance for the 'Talkalot with Calls and Messages' tariff.
The charges for calling these numbers are:
Calls to 0845 numbers: Daytime (Monday to Friday) 35p
Evenings 10p
Weekends 2p
Calls to 0870 numbers: Daytime (Monday to Friday) 35p
Evenings 10p
Weekends 2p
Daytime hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm. Weekends are midnight Friday to midnight Sunday. Evening includes all other times."
In previous posts some people say they are included so I am still none the wiser

I don't text to be honest, but when i get a k750i soon I could be interested in text/MMS. (Unless they change it before then )
On the ITS, yeah I knew that was the same.
Do you have anything in writing or on the T&C's from o2 that says 0870/0845 are included in the online tariffs?
I know I didn't make this up:)

I have a vivid memory that o2 online contracts didn't include 0870 and 0845 in inclusive minutes, but I can't remember where/why.
I know the T&C's for the online contracts don't list them as being included, but they also don't list them as being excluded either
Now that someone has confirmed that they are included on their online contract I am trying to rack my brains why that is so firm in my memory.

You may or not be able to call 0844/0845/0870 numbers out of your inclusive minutes on O2 but you should still be able to call 07744 numbers like S F. This applies to contract, and payg x net bolt ons ,online, or high st.So all is not lost in the cheaper call stakes.PF.0
