Please complete OFCOMs consumer survey about customer service at mobile companies. http://www.ofcom.org.uk/complain/mobile/customer/unhelpful/

The more people who complete the survey the more likely mobilephone companies will be taken to task over their customer service.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

  • I was about to send bills 11 and 12 when I read this forum. Will be sending them of in any case, to keep up the hope. I am happy to join the club who is willing to take them to the Court for small claims.

Hi Kilraine, my boyfriend has just had EXACTLY the same problem with the mobile outlet. In fact, we're fairly sure we didn't even get a dispatch note!

We have sent one email, the reply to which was "I cannot overturn this decision, please write to us at ...". We then wrote in, and heard nothing. We then emailed again asking for a phone number, and for them to respond. We were told "Our cashback team are not customer facing" (I wonder why that is!) and "Please state your query in writing". A bit of a hotheaded reply from us read "Clearly we have tried that to no avail". The reply to which was "I will ask the cashback team to look into this". - Still no reply.

I have now sent a recorded delivery letter telling them why they are in the wrong, and that they have 14 days to overturn their decision, if not we are taking it to the small claims court. (Having had success with a similar letter sent to phones2udirect for my contract... another story altogether!)

Please let me know how you get on, and I'll try to keep you posted as well.
