UK Assistance Anyone had dealings with them

I had my car in for a simple bumper touchup, number plate replacement and new badge.

Went to collect the car, and they had got the number plates wrong.
Quality checks - no working if they can't spot that the numbers didn't match.

So refused to take car, collected the next couple of days.

You have me worried now, my wife's car was involved in an accident two days ago, I contacted our insurers Churchill's, right away and they have involved UK Assist, to deal with thew repairs, I am actually waiting for them to contact me , right now, It's not serious damage but now I am worried about what will it be like , when it comes back ?

You don't "have" to use an accident management company.


Assuming you have comprehensive cover you can insist your insurer deals with your claim.


Alternatively contact the third party insurer and see if they have an innocent third party claims dept to deal with your claim
