Poke the thigh of the chicken with a skewer; the moment the juices run clear, the chicken is ready.
You could always get a thermometer. Stick its prong into the middle of the thigh. When the temperature hits 180° F.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

I also use a skewer to check if the thigh juices are clear.
Another way I check it, just to make sure, is to tip it up and the look carefully at any juice that runs out of the body. The juice should be clear or tinged brown and if there's even the slightest hint of pink, it needs a bit longer.

Ditto. I also picked up a meat thermometer in a pound shop, which has been very useful.0

I've bought a whole roasted chicken from Sainsburys and although it tastes fine it looks a bit pink. Is it ok to eat? lol I've eaten some already, hope it's not too late!0

So long as the juices are running clear. They should have tested it with a meat thermometer0
