    sometimes mine are have pink flesh, but I know mine are well cooked, and as Bongedone says yours will have been tested with meat thermometer [unlike mine]

    Thanks for that ladies! I've just had some with my tea tonight. I'm just hoping they did use a meat thermometer. Aaarrgghhh, I'm such a worrier! Mind you the meat was tender and tasted fine.

    Hi,

    I put a large full chicken on to cook, at 200 (fan assisted oven), i let it cook for over 3 hours.

    I started stripping off the meat, but, as im pulling meat off right at the actual carcus (sp) of the chicken, there looks like blood running from it, however all the meat is white.

    Will it be okay to eat? I should say that I took some of the meat off the chicken, and gave it to the kids for their dinner, I left the rest of the meat on the carcus to cook down, then started to stip it off about 15 mins later, and this is when Ive noticed the blood. Im really worried now incase ive poisoned my children
