I wonder if Brit still finds these graphs "truly magnificent" and if they still "excite him in a perverse manor(sic)"This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Good figures.
Scary to find that every one in the UK (man, woman and child) is going to have to help by paying back their share - $50,000 (£31,250) per person - to cover the bail out. Esp as the GDP per capita is only $36,600.
That's one big payback. Put like that, how the hell are we supposed to pay that off?
Reassuring, on the other hand, to find that at least the average house is down by 24K in just over a year. Meaning we might all save a little on our house-buying costs...to put towards paying off the national debt.

Someone talented like you carolt should only have to work for a couple more years before retiring to pay off your share. Might put off the tax payers' revolt of the younger generation for a few months too.0
