    I take it seriously, it says we have 12% and 16% falls from a year ago. Which is suitably gloomy and the other argument would be the 'less worse' perspective
    Did the market fall in a straight line in 1990 or did the rate of descent vary

    some other people may look at it in a different way. it has increased from February on one and slightly increased on the other mortgage approvals - may be they're not as glum as you. feel free to interpret it how you wish.
