    A few months dated now, but I like this graph as a real reminder in cost-terms of the spectacular HPI we've had over the space of 10 or so years, when wages haven't kept pace.

    Does the above graph use the latest real house price data from nationwide?

    This is my favourite graph btw. It illustrates the crazy HPI of the last decade and how over priced they are. Mostly though, it gives a good guide as to how far prices are likely to fall.

    Poke fun at the haliwide spin of price drops having stabalised and its only up up up from there on in.....

    Here's one. Foreclosures (reposessions) in California. California apparently has a housing market most similar to the UK:
