    The trend seems to be that as well as higher the peaks, and the troughs, get wider? Funny, you think they'd get quicker as time went on. Suggests that really, there is a lot more if we follow trend eh? Wonder how ong my nerves will hold?:confused::o

    This is real (ie, inflation adjusted) but the numbers are still on a linear scale. This means that the peaks appear higher, since 1% of a large number is more than 1% of a small number. If the graph used a logarithmic scale then the peaks wouldn't appear to be getting so much bigger.

  • I guess they aren't showing the -12.7% YoY on the graph. :rolleyes:

    The Beeb seem to be reporting the 10.9% figure.
