Thats "Love in a mist"!! I love this flower. The buds open up into very intricate flowers that are stunning! It self seeds abundantly. I searched for weeks for some seeds for this and finally fond them so I now have a nice little patch in my garden too.

Boy, they have changed from the first photo haven't they? I didn't take much notice of mine as they were growing although I do recall mistaking them for California poppies.

Sorry about the quality, the camera seems to want to focus on the background foliage for some reason.

Hello,I do belive we have a new plant here,a climbing poisonous spud with flowers like a morning glory and leaves like a tomato.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
New name gardeners nightmare:eek: , Latin name someone.

I think it may confuse some new gardeners it did me at first and I am anything but new.:D
I remember reading once about someone who attempted to graft a tomato top onto a potato bottom - a pomato maybe:D - I was really excited by this idea of two crops for the space of one but couldn't remember where I had read it so I have no idea of if it worked. I imagine if it did work then it couldn't be a huge anount of crops gained as the poor plant would be worn out!

I seem to remember in the late 50s early 60s this was practised by some gardeners for some reason. It may be a good idea now for small gardens, what with food shortages forcast it must be better than GM.
If you think this has helped make my day and hit the thanks button:beer:
