Are you saying that you used it out of your THREE Inclusive minutes and they Charged you to call it?PF.0 -
yes I used it out of my inclusive minutes and i asked 3 what the charges were for and theysaid theycan't tell me until my next bill comes out on the23 september but I haven't used the phone for any other calls except local and mobiles and they were included for sure and a company that send ringtones through free text messages .I'msure the first 40p was off the 0773 number as I mistakingly dialled the int number after the voice prompted me to and then pressed the green button..................half scottish half italian :100%moneysaver0

You may well have been charged for the international call, because the way it works, when you press the green button, the phone dials the number. I have done this before (deliberately) when I've been on the phone to one person, and put them on hold when I called someone else. Some phones and networks allow 2 calls to be connected at the same time. Also most of these indirect dial companies to state in the instructions on their web sites, that if you're using a mobile, never to press the send or green button after dialing the destination number.0

Shiggaddi wrote:Pre-dial used to have an orange number, but unfortunately that got barred. The way it worked, was you made calls to landlines by using the orange numbers, that then earned points, which can be used against calling other numbers, mainly other mobiles. I actually used them for calling 0870 numbers. The orange number came out my inclusive minutes on "3"
And before you mention saynoto0870, I do say no, I was simply using the remainder of my inclusive minutes that I didn't use each month to call my own 0870 number, and earn a small rebate, instead of wasting those minutes!!
I`m on three as well, and my free minutes do not include non-geographic numbers like 0870. How are you managing to do this?0 -
I think Shiggaddi was talking about the pre-dial international calling Orange number, this was a "normal" orange mobile number and you called that from Three on your inclusive minutes.
I wonder if he then meant that when he was on the orange number he dialed 0870 numbers.
When the orange pre-dial number worked I used it on three to call America for free. However that has not been working for a while.
Instead I use 1899 and call through on the 020 number which comes out of my inclusive minutes on Three and that then costs no more than calling from a landline.0
