Npower Charging Me 50% More Now
Hi, just got the npower gas/elec bill in, £100 a month I pay, now they say they have assesed previous bills and are going to increase it to £150 a month:eek: I haven't rang them yet because wanted to know what to say? If I am allowed to argue/contest it? Do I have to accept it? Crumbs it is 50% more:eek:

Check that they arent using estimated meter readings , provide a most recent reading if you can0 -
Of course you are allowed to contest it, but this is a pretty common scenario; especially for new accounts.
They will normally let you pay back the debit balance over the period it took for the debt to build up.0
