Mine were expensive (£20 for a large square lasagne-type dish and a 6 hole yorkshire dish) and the silicone was very thick. I didn't mind paying £20 cos they have a 10 year guarantee and I was likely to spend £20 in ten years just replacing tin ones.
  • I got several in poundland and have had really good results, I've only used them for making cakes and I left them to cool for about 15 minutes - they turned out really easily.

  • I borrow my Mum's for making muffins and I spray them with frylight before I use them, never had anything stick in them yet!

What make are your ones Badgergal pls and where did you buy them from? The ones on ebay were a blue and meant for an Aga as well (which i don't have:p ) . Thanks.
  • Just getting back up to speed on this thread, the Aldi ones are thin and floppy but once I learned how to handle them they are great - nothing seems to stick and they do crisp up the food well. I even managed to burn some Jam tarts and they overflowed but still popped out straight away. I guess I like them but an still a little wary as the "Lasagne Dish" thingie can be rather heavy when full of stuff at gas mark 6!

  • I got mine from the Ideal Home show in London (went late at night to get in cheap!), I think the make is Betterware but will have to doublecheck.

Ideal World shopping channel also do a huge range that look to be good quality. https://www.idealworld.tv They calls theirs Flexibake I think.

Yorkshire puds are fantastic in the Aldi muffin trays. Only trouble was, I popped in a little mixture I had left, which meant the trays were nearly full (instead of half full) and although the puddings rose to a huge size, the bottoms were still a teeny bit uncooked.

Yup its time to throw away my metal trays too!

Thanks - look on that site but none there. We sometimes have a Betterware brochure put through the door..............wonder if it is the same people?

    None in Aldi near me:(.

However I have now bought some from ebay, 2 x 6 holed bun/muffin tins for £10.99 + postage. My sister is going to have one and I'm having the other. So that's not too bad. Can't remember the name but will let you know how I get on!

    Thanks for everyones help!
