Morning everyone. I've got 'stuff' to do today. A costco run (bye bye £300
) and general household stuff including sorting out why my washing machine is leaking *sigh* bloody thing is only a year old too.
Hubby finally got around to telling his mother about orlandia last night. That went down as well as predicted
She cried for half an hour, gave him a lecture about god alone knows what (I love that they speak in french and I only understand 1/4 of it :rotfl: ) She has the hump because she never gets to see his other daughter because the ex wife is a bit of a nightmare, so she went on about one day we might get divorced  and this will be another grandchild she never sees. Ever the bloody optimist that woman :rotfl:
His dad made me belly laugh though when he was told he was going to be a grandad again and his reply was... by who? Bless.
Anyway that's over with, just my dad to go now. But seeing as I've not heard from him since the wedding I really couldn't care less what he's got to say. On a nicer note, we told our next door neighbour who really is the loveliest woman on the planet (one of these people who spends half of the year doing volunteer relief work in Africa and India). I though she was going to wet herself she was so excited. She said she would be insisting on coming in to do a few night shifts so we can sleep. How sweet is she.:A

That is lovely Toto. Responses i got to my third child, was Oh no, not another bl!!!dy pregnancy, i couldn't cope with another...that was my mum.she never helped with any of the others, i never asked her to babysit and always managed fine without her. so i never forgot it. She had five children, so i was way behind her on that front. Ooo there was one moment when she did look after the children when i went into hospital to give birth, even then i was on a timer, as she had to get back to make dad's tea. My current neighbour did the rest..she was always there for us, and is brilliant. Likewise i would walk over hot coals for her.
And happy birthday to Sar, hope you have a good day with lots of Lambrini.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
