I'm OH-less at the moment anyway - his trial for Wed to Fri this week settled on Tuesday evening, so he flew to Israel on Wednesday to see his new-born cousins, and won't be back until Sunday night.
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

So, he was expecting to go down for a long time and when he got off, he left the country rather than coming home.

What a fantastic aray of subjects coverered on this thread, with the odd contributer having not read from the beginning, trying to make it serious.
I for one am really impressed that as well as giving great advice most of the time, most people of MSE HBR+S board have got a sense of humour, and a great talent for witty writing.

P.S. It was me that started the decking thing, which then morphed into cheesecake....so.......

thank away..... only need about 944 to get to my 1000!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

It's a great name (-:I've met loads of Israeli Isaacs (well, Yitzhaks!) but none in the UK.

It isn't a very common name. The different spellings we get for him shows this...Izac, Issac, Issacs...

Mind you, I have an Aaron as well, a more common name but equally impossible for most people to spell, it would seem :D

    Mucho appreciated

Really wish I had some skill like NDG law or the likes, great respect to those people that can come up with real advice and financial savvy. I can only offer an opinion from experience that I've gathered over many years (great stuff botox).

Me, I'm just a people person, like to make people smile and hope it spreads a little.

I think after some of the cutting stuff thats been going on, I think thats happened.

Wow, you have a think for double "a"s in names, I reckon!

The mis-spelling we get a lot is "Issac". I think that's from people thinking, "there's a double letter in there somewhere....."
