DATES are needed - availability may vary by date if advance tickets are there for any part of the journey. Won't matter for savers though

And is Blackpool South essential? There are more trains to North though I doubt if the fare will vary..

its 4th july to 6th july and south as we are staying in a travel lodge there so thats south dont want to be miles away to get there thanks

OK - one possibility

Saver return Nottingham to Sheffield £15.80 each

Saver return Sheffield to Blackpool South via Stockport £32.60 each.

A saver from Sheffield to Blackpool via Leeds (bit of a long way round) is £27.60 each

Could you get the coach ? That goes from Broadmarsh to several drop off points in Blackpool doesn't it ?

Yes - I'm getting that now.

The rail web sites seem to give occasional anomalous results - eg the £70 return I quoted seems now to be a figment of either my or the website's imagination. I suspect something to do with mishandled cookies on the latter.
