That doesn't work either - I get a message saying "Something went wrong..." [no, you think?!] "...There seems to be a problem playing this video - please try again".
Is it me, or is the site just a bit... crap?
Sarah
Can't understand why you're having problems with iplayer.
Escape To The Country - Series 4 - Port Talbot to North Devon
(Available for 5 more days)
Just go to the iplayer website, press play - watch away immediately. And thanks to the OP for cringing me out with this show.0 -
Uggh, that looks like a few b&b's I've stayed in, how awful. Sorry if its your house, but dude, get some taste.PasturesNew wrote: »
I've picked them a great house in their existing area. And it's quite cheap, leaving them lots of lolly left over to buy tasteless tat with. Here's something ideal, without them moving too far: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-15565361.rsp?pa_n=8&tr_t=buyFreedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
I was about to put an offer in on that place.
It's actually a yellow palace, remember my previous post on yellow dust, that was all white at one time. It stands palacially on the mountainside as you enter the zone of Port Talbot. You need a donkey to get to it but I think they have amazing views of the coastline.
Did you notice how the laydee from PT kept sticking her chest out to the cameraman when she was saying...."countryside is for outside, not indoors"0 -
I liked the house on the outside and it could be made into something really nice, just not the hodgepodge of ideas and tastes that blight it atm.
I noticed she stuck her chest out at every opportunity. I also noticed who "ruled the roost" and it wasn't the bloke

Sorry LE was only kidding about putting an offer in!!0

I did guess that, no one is stupid enough to say on the t'internet if they are offering on a house
Stick by my comments though. Tbh it seems an absolute bargain compared to the people off the tv's house.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
Comedy genius! They need their own show.

I have to say that the HPC hit this area way before anyone else. Last year I was watching the market, and I'm sure the yellow palace was up then for a higher price - come down from £400k+, and things in this area were being reduced even before then.
I don't think the orange pool people that were on the programme could have ever realistically got £450k+ that the agents were suggesting, even in the boom of the boom.

Orange people in South Wales?
They must be Gavin Henson's folks! In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -

ooh where???
I would love to stay in a B&B like this place!
it's all part of the fun - B&B can be so boring otherwise.
I like staying in unusual places - this would would be great, its like an attraction (ok, one night though not a week!)0
