Did anyone see the BBC2 program tonight?
It was a repeat from 2006 about a family from Port Talbot and their interesting house they wanted to move out from and into the country.
I think I spent the whole program chuckling. Worth watching on BBC iplayer if only for the first 5 minutes that show their house.
ps... I loved their astroturf

Chuckling? I was shreiking with laughter, but they must be doing somthing right to have been looking in that price bracket. I actually thought the second house would have suited them really well...each to their own and all that, but it would have been a real shame imo or them to have, er, put their stamp, on the first house.0

I first saw this episode in Feb 07 and I just could not believe it was true. I missed it this evening, but from what I remember it was really funny to watch the twee presenter nearly choking when the family wanted to rip out an original queen Anne staircase and replace it with mirrors and steel steps!
tell me it was real and not a wind up:rotfl:0 -
Mmmm that was going through my mind, especially at the end when they stood in that fantastic grassed tree drive, I really said at the point " I love that area" then on the telly she says, oh we'll have to astroturf this bit :rotfl:lostinrates wrote: »but it would have been a real shame imo or them to have, er, put their stamp, on the first house.
What if you were the neighbours of one of the houses then? Wouldn't you be feeling a huge amount of relief.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
AND the only time I've EVER heard the presenter say, you must invite me back when you've changed it to the way you want. I honestly have no idea how she kept a straight face. Top marks!!Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0

I was in fits of laughter watching this.
Funniest thing was the perma-tans of the laydeez. I swear their skins got darker with each camera shot. :rotfl:
And then they turned up to the viewings looking like they had just come straight from an audition for the Pus sycat Dolls.

Help! I want to download that episode, but the BBC site keeps taking me round in circles. I bring up the episode I want, click download, another window appears saying I haven't any programmes to watch and invites me to download programmes, I click that, it opens another window so that I can choose a programme, I choose the episode, click download... and so it goes on.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
