Part of the Furniture 10,000 Posts Name Dropper Photogenic
I had a guy talking to me on MSN once. He added me and me being curious wanted to see who it was.

He told me he was in his late 30s. He started asking me inappropriate questions and then asked for photos and I refused and he completely hit the roof and started asking sexual questions too, etc.
I had my friend with me who took over the conversation and told him that I was a police officer who was undercover and he was going to get arrested etc. I never heard anything else from him after that. Whilst I don't condone lying (and it was my friend who said about the police officer thing), it did certainly get him off of my back.

I was 16 at the time.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone apart from the above, if you have nothing sensible to say then go away.

    Morning all,

Thanks for all the advice, I have phoned yahoo again this morning, and as Welliesorter and others have said there is not a lot they can do, apparantly he has not done anything serious enough for them to get involved  . Any way his profile thing has been completly removed, looks like he has changed it, I am almost positive that he has made a new one and moved on

Anyway I do talk a lot to my dd about the dangers on the net, we have an open relationship, and I always check what she is up to via Webwatcher, she also came to me and said that she had recieved this e-mail, its just horrible that this sort of thing can happen, but it has made dd and I more aware, and I will keep checking.

    Thanks Guys

The op is not saying her daughter is perfect she is saying she is worried that her daughter is talking to a adult on the internet who may have ulterior motives.

I have a 15 yr old and she is far from perfect but i would still worry who she is talking to.

I would get your daughter to change yahoo ID and give her friends the new one.

Problem solved, unless she gives it to the person you think is doggy.

I have had people come on to me in the past 30+ years younger than me, I gave them a good telling off in the hope the next person is no so caring.

I used to have a program that let you remove your ID from another persons contact list, I am not sure if they now exist but If I find one I will come back to post it here.
