how much electric do you use a day

well using my laptop for about an hour used up 14p and i think the lcd tv uses a fair amount as well im trying things out since the tv n laptop have been off it hasnt moved
If your laptop used electricity worth 14p in an hour it would literally melt! and burn anything it was touching.
A typical laptop uses about 30 watts. So it will run for approx 3 hours for 1p(one penny)0 -
We are in 3 bed house with gch and unheated conservatory. We pay £86 a month to EDF. think my gadet needs a full month reading b4 I can get an accurate idea of my usage.
