I thought you might be amused to know that the signage on the roof of B&B in central Bingley (visible from our living room, oh joy) has been subtly altered. It is now the Bradfo & Bingley. I'll let you know when another letter drops off.Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000

No doubt they will replace current management with more competent people and dump the present chairman and board.
If Clive Cowdery/Resolution end up in charge, so much the better. He has a plan to scoop up all the troubled mortgage lenders and consolidate them as he did successfully with the bombed out life funds.
Tip us the nod when its time to buy, you seem to be talking sense ;-)0 -

Maybe the Americans aren't stupid after all :eek:0 -

Things are going to get even grimmer for B&B shareholders. It's time to bale out now if you haven't already done so.
Panmure Gordon analyst Sandy Chen cut his target price for the bank to 20p, citing the "gauntlet" of "an emergency rights issue, more difficult funding conditions, and a rapidly deteriorating macro environment". B&B shares closed below the rights price at 50p, down 11p.Krusty & Phil Madoff, 1990 - 2007:

Shares down 13% today so far to only 43.5 pence. B&B is not long for this world it seemsKrusty & Phil Madoff, 1990 - 2007:

My feeling is TPG must have disappeared for a reason. As I posted before, the TPG offer was encouraging to me, but their pull out is more discouraging than their offer was encouraging. so, although I was feeling I had acted rashly in beating a retreat from Band B it seems that TPG are doing the same. Now I feel canny rather than rash, lol.0

Only problem selling 250 shares at these levels is that you lose 15% on £15 commission
.
But if they are going to fall to 30p or lower then it would be worth doing now.0 -
Would it be a good idea to buy the rights issue?0
