Just looked, they did pick up again, but then dropped off. I might toss a coin for it.0

I'd just take your 67p bonus, they'll probably drop in the morning further.
Or maybe there will be a buying frenzy (think not) and they'll go up slightly...:rotfl: Smile Your Saving:rotfl:0 -
I just looked and it is only about £150. Might sell them. It will buy me a pair of curtains for my new house anyway.0

i got shares
2 lots infact
one lot from mortgage and another lots from my sons savers account.
im not selling, im leaving them where they are cos they way i see it is that i never went out and bought them so whatever they earn me in interest is a bonus.

None of this would be happening if they'd stayed as good old building societies, instead of converting to banks and letting the get-rich-quick wide boys call all the shots.
I guess you must have missed the news a week or so ago that the Nationwide, the biggest BS, was writing off around 850m quid's worth of toxic asset backed sub prime rubbish.
That's about three times as much as B&B.
I wonder what would have happened to the nationwide share price when that came out, if it had been publicly listed.
They are all at it, believe me.Trying to keep it simple...0 -
