Here Here to the original poster, Its hard enough dealing with debtors without nasty people making this worse. We know we messed up and we're doing our best to put it right. I'd decided to come clean at work about my money troubles when the collection squad rattled yet another collection tin under my nose. I said I was stopping all donations even charities as It was causing me hardship, other people then opened up and said it was getting out of hand. I am now the office skinflint and proud of it. I get asked the cheapest way to shop ect now. One man has even confided in me he remorgaged his house to pay for a honeymoon in the seychelles, he got divorced a year later and is up to his neck in debt poor soul. These nasties do not know what is round the corner for them, life is funny that way. Love and light to all people on this journey were on together.

Strange how many people are actually in debt but feel like they can't say anything.

Well done to the troll patrol, good job guys. We're all here for a reason, and people posting rubbis doesn't help anyone at all. Personally speaking, my troll could have done me some serious damage, but here I am, walking tall, thanks to you guys. The move to Florida will be thanks to everyone here and their help, might offer Martin a room to stay if he fancies a cheap holiday!
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Just popping in and only just caught this - totally agree! ome nasty people out there. I met someone who admitted to some trolling and asked him (tried to do it nicely but not sure I managed it!) why he did it - he said he was bored & had nothing better to do so I pointed out the fact that some people are very vulnerable and a troll could push them over the edge...keep on watching ad dont let the b**** et us down. I just visualise sad & lonely people with no mates and try to pity them as much as I can although admittedly its hard when theyre so vicious! We shall overcome! Lets go debtbusters!

I can't believe people would post nasty unhelpful things (not that I'm denying this has happened). Aside from it being spiteful haven't they got anything better to do with themselves? Very strange.

well if they do come I'd rather they posted at some hardcore MSE regulars who could "occupy them", distract them from the newbies and generally kick them into touch...
For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 2007
  • Blimey, if I'd known I was going to collect 78 thanks from that I'd have done it sooner ;)

Thanks to whoever stickied it (t'wasn't me) and thanks to everyone for keeping others occupied. Whether it's "trolls" or just someone with a different and maybe more forthright opinion, any posts you feel could put someone off from posting just report as you have been and the forum team will take a look.

    Have a good evening!

    Andrea :)
