This thread in May really got me to think about what I needed to do, and for the most part, I succeeded.

So, I sat down and decided I need to up my focus a bit more for June and I will be aiming to:
  • Start tidying my house, doing the flylady way of tidying up
  • Do a car boot sale at the end of the month
  • Raise £100 from ebay and amazon
  • Make £100 from Matched betting/games/b!ngo
  • Keep up to date with clicks and surveys
  • Not buy more than one latte a day
  • Take the bus to work 4 days a week
  • Take lunch to work 4 days a week
  • Keep a record of how much petrol we REALLY use
  • Not go to the cash machine as much
  • Stick to my diet
I will update at the end of the month, with progress (or otherwise!!)

    Great idea for a thread!

    I am going to:

    Do a car boot sale
Get my 'ebay box' out of the loft and actually list the stuff in it
Stick to my diet and get to my first stone lost (5lbs to go)
Walk to town at least once a week (but leave my purse at home)
Be fully trained up at work by the end of June
    Stick to our food/petrol budget
Make the most of the time I have with hubby and the kids, and find free or cheap things for us to do as a family.

I'm going to get one particular credit card paid off which is about £1000! eek!
Will clear out my room too as it's an utter mess and I'm sure I don't need half the things that I have. (Must not be so sentimental)

    Hi:j
    Great thead!

    For june I will attempt:

To bring packed lunches to work
To not buy coffee on way to work
    To stick to budget
To put any extra money earned into savings to pay off loan.

If I manage this, I will be so proud!!!

    Wish me luck!

    Excellent thread!

    I plan to:

-cycle to work, thereby avoiding the need to buy a car just yet and making my thighs slightly less wobbly in the process
-harvest some of my home-grown veg and plant even more as space allows
-pay in a £50 cheque which has been sitting in my purse since February
-do a good clearout of my clothes and ebay/charity shop everything which hasn't been worn for a year or more
-resume my clicks- I've been really slack the last couple of months

I thought of some more :D

    - Find an architect and start the process of seeing if we can have an extension
    - Stick to my new housework routine and prevent it from turning into a tip again
    - Learn how to use Photoshop which has been newly installed on my laptop today

    Hi Everyone,

I was just looking for some way to keep motivated in June and I've found it:j :j :j what a great thread.

So for June my aims are....

    1) Get the garden looking more like a garden and less like a jungle.
    2) Reduce my indebtedness by £1000.

    3) Only use cash and keep my spending diary up-to-date (5 months so far).

    4) Make £150 on eBay.

I know it's not as big a list as some people but I have a chance of doing it and I guess I can add things later on in the month.

    Regards

Another one from me- I'm going to reduce the amount of wine we drink. And if we have to drink wine it will be the £2.98 a bottle South African red from Tesco. Should be good for the figure as well as for the bank balance...
