when i moved the vendors set up mail direction but were advised by the post office it can take up to 2 weeks to get started. the post office also sent a letter to the 'occupier' stating that mail direction had been set up from the address in the name of
and to contact them if the person had no association with the address (very good i thought) - any way back to the point the vendors said there may be letters delivered in the first couple of weeks and as they were going away within that 2 weeks we aranged to put the mail in the electic meter box on a certain day so they could collect it in passing. we got things trough for the 1st 10 days and then stopped.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0 -
It's gone now guys!! I left a message with Specsavers too who weren't open today, letting them know it'll be coming back to them.
It is MY property now. I had the original keys and all the locks have all been changed, I've met the neighbours, I have all the paperwork, I would never go in there if I didn't own it, that would just be ridiculous...
The vendor has never expressed any interest in communicating with me at all which made me a little sad as I would have loved to chat, and like I said, they do have my number.
The seller has done a number of other little things I see as a bit weird, and all in all I think she is just a bit lazy.
EDIT: Have tried getting the seller's number through EA and solicitors but neither interested in giving it to me or even passing a message on to her for me.. they have their money so no longer interested.
Also, my mum redirects my mail as I used to live at home and didn't change my addy with anyone important when I moved out because I knew I wouldn't be renting long!
I guess I am such a planner that I would 1. redirect all my mail
2. ensure new owner had fwding address and number for me
