Loads of new properties just come on the market

Has anyone else noticed this?
In my area, just within the last few days, but especially today, rightmove have just sent me a load of new, not-been-on-the-market-the-last-few-months-gathering-dust, properties. And in virtually all cases, the prices are undercutting those same rather long-in-the-tooth properties by between 10 and 60 grand, for virtually identical properties.
Could it finally be that news of the impending crash has finally filtered through to those whose heads had been stuck firmly in the sand, and so they are trying to get 'ahead of the curve' before prices fall any further?
Or is it just in my area?
Should add - my local rightmove listing now goes onto 2 pages (that's just for this 24 hours).

Maybe just sellers who, like us, have watched the market for a while and realised that nothing is moving and there's only one way to sell right now.
We put ours on at around £25k less than those similar houses that had been there since the beginning of the year and had a full price offer within two weeks. Our neighbour across the road obviously fell for the EA's* patter and put there's on at a similar price to the rest. One month later, they've lopped £10k off but still no sign of movement.
*The EA who also suggested that we pitch the house at the higher price but had no answer as to why nothing of that size and price had sold this year despite the "buoyant market" she was telling us about. :rotfl:What goes around - comes around0 -

Just your area0 -
This is the BTLers rushing for the exits.
Price low for a fast sale and hope to sell quick enough to leave with a hefty profit.Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.0 -
I don't have to look on rightmove. The For Sale and To Let boards are everywhere.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
Read the sticky on the House Buying, Renting & Selling board.0 -
seem to be a lot coming on the market in the mosesely area of birmingham - just the walk from my gf's place to the bus stop shows many, many sale boards being erected in the past 2 weeks.0

Funny... reminds of something I posted a few months ago , about the fact that I was in Northern Ireland for a few days and entire villages seemed to be for sale (streets of boards!), it was shocking
and someone replied it was a sign of thrieving, prosperous property market or something like that.

One EA near me must have hit the wrong button and deleted and re-added a load of properties the other day.0

Not here. I just did my Rightmove search and started wondering if Property Bee was even working, there's hardly any new ones or price changes.0

Once I'd installed the very latest version, I went through and it made a lot of difference.0 -
Not noticed much change near me. A couple of new properties and one reduction in the last day or two.0
