Second bulletpoint down.
"Set up a monthly standing order from your bank account - you can make other deposits too, as long as the total each month doesn’t exceed £500 "
Whereas in the Account Conditions pdf linked to above, on the Regular Saver page, it says you can only make one deposit.
Without confirmation in writing indicating the contrary, I'd go by the T&C's - at most one (variable amount) SO per calendar month.
It wouldn't be the first time the website's been wrong (someone mentioned upthread the site still mentioned £250 max somewhere); the T&C's should have been looked over by lawyers - looks like anyone can change the website without such scrutiny.Conjugating the verb 'to be":

No, it's there in the conditions for the 'new' Regular Saver - page 4 - two pages before the Monthly Saver in the pdf linked to above
I'd already read the T&C's by that post - that's why I alluded a reference to page 5 (or 6 if you use Adobe's page numbering) about their monthly saver:Up to two deposits per month. One of these must be a regular payment of the same amount by standing order.
It would appear not however.Conjugating the verb 'to be":

Anyone had any success yet on a fast transfer? Sort 11-03-57 is showing up on the APACS site as elligible.0

One of the linked accounts doesn't show up on the Halifax website, but you'll find it on the Bank of Scotland site. It's the Bank of Scotland Instant Access Savings Account. This can be opened with £1 and pays 5% interest.
This morning when I opened RS account by phone, the girl (sounded very new) told me I couldn't use this account as my linked one. I asked her to check and she came back to say I could. She had been confusing it with an ISA.0 -
Hi.
Can someone who has opened this online let me know if it is available to fund pretty much immediately, or whether I'll have to wait a week for the paper work etc to come through?
I am already an existing HFAX customer (current account/c.card) so have online access. I don't want to apply too early though, as I like to fund towards end of month then switch to start of month to maximise interest.
When do you think, if applying online, would be a sensible date to submit the application? If it processes and opens immediately, I'd guess around about 24th. If not, I'll allow an extra week and go for 16th or so (next Monday).
Any thoughts? Thanks.

I'm confused by the details on the website - hope someone can shed some light!
I cannot see that it mentions the 2% bonus but the press release does. But it lists the nominated accounts and mentions "Halifax Websaver with card" but doesn't say specifically that the Halifax Websaver withOUT card is a qualifying nominated account.
So if I feed the Halifax Regular Saver from Halifax Websaver withOUT card - will I get the 12%?
Also my wife and I have both opened Halifax Regular Saver Accounts fed from the same joint Halifax Websaver withOUT card. Do we need to keep £5k or £10k in that joint account, or do I need to open a new Halifax Websaver with card account and put £5k or £10k in? Very confusing!
It's also not allowing the standing order maximum to be changed from £250 to £500 yet!0 -

"What's more, if you have at least £5,000 to invest into your nominated account, we can help you make the most of your savings with an even bigger rate. Call 0845 601 8150 or speak to a colleague in branch for more details."So if I feed the Halifax Regular Saver from Halifax Websaver withOUT card - will I get the 12%?0 -

Also at the same link it specifies that it's the Variable rate Halifax Web Saver that qualifies.so thats both with and without..again the T's&C's may state something different..So if I feed the Halifax Regular Saver from Halifax Websaver withOUT card - will I get the 12%?
