Anything to sell on ebay or Amazon? I found that clothes, shoes & cosmetics sell really well for good prices. Cosmetics in particular (even used). I managed to pay off a trip to Germany last year for 4 people with stuff lying about the house.Tallyhoh! Stopped Smoking October 2000. Saved £29382.50 so far!0

The only thing that REALLY stod out for me wha the £400 for entertainment??
Goodness gracious....I think maybe you can cut that down????
(I'm slighty envious, lol)
ok, a lot envious!Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Tallyhoh - good idea! I even have some stuff that hasn't been opened. However, I've never sold on ebay before but I can certainly get sorting. Thanks.
Bunnyinthelights - it is way too much but I had a figure which pretty much covers all in my first go at the SoA. Things included in that are dog food which I reckon to be about £60/month which does sound loads but I have a giant breed dog.
So, before my head explodes this evening after a stressful week I am going through this post again and noting down everything that everyone has suggested and see where I go from there.
with everyone being so pragmatic is has really helped - thanks again. I can't tell you how much this has meant to me.0 -
Miia, the support from these boards is fantastic, and it can really make the difference on your debt free journey.
I hope you stick around - I know it may be difficult to post because you don't want OH to know, but do keep popping in when you canSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. :hello: Hello! Weekend's always good for a clear out and organise of stuff. Just popped in to see how you were doing. Well done so far! eBay is a fab way to get rid of stuff.... obviously you aren't doing it for the money
but to streamline the clutter and have a nice spring clean, get everything tidied, be more organised etc. Let us know how you get on and what good deals you find!

Welcome Miia! Some great advice on here already. Just had a thought about the giant breed dog (I have one too plus two others - cost more than me to feed!) - have you tried wholesaler for the food? I get mine online here - I buy enough at a time to get the cheapest price and it saves me £30 or so on a month's food. Depending on what you feed it might be worth a look. Good luck!0
