Hi all, can I be added to the list? 1st August 2009 for us. I feel much happier after reading this thread, I thought I was the only one madly booking things so far ahead and being terribly excited about all of it. So far...booked the wedding venue and village hall. I bought a wedding dress on ebay the other day for £25 (monsoon), which fits perfectly. I got the bridesmaids dresses in the sale in Debenhams. Finding a ceilidh band is my next job....I don't think I'll find one of those for £25 though!

Oh my life, just looked at the wedding list for 2009 and we are first on the list in January and all we've done is book our venue, due to pay the deposit next week. We are way behind most of you guys! Thanks for the advice Martin! :money:Member no. 920 - Proud to be dealing with our debts0

I wouldn't worry Lorne, I get married in about 4 months and I've done less than some of these guys!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Can I add my wedding - 27th September 2009.
Has anyone else chosen a Sunday for their wedding and got discounts as a result? Our venue (hotel) offered us a great deal compared to a Saturday wedding. Now I'm wondering if we can negotiate discounts with other suppliers such as photographers, cars etc?
I've already got my dress and my bridesmaids' dresses but still need to sort out everything else!0
