Are There Still any FTB's out there??

I'm a FTB, sitting it out and saving a deposit, but still semi-actively seeking a house. If the house I wanted to stay in for good came along at a good price I would buy now. I wont be buying anything that I might want to sell in the next 5 years though, therefore all flats and 2 bed's out for me. A 3 bed semi would do nicely. In fact a beautiful house that was on for £190k where I could have lived until I had grey hair and a brood of kids has just been put under offer. (All others there are £220k+ so it was a relative bargain), however, just out of my price range. Im quite sad about it, but such is life!
Your price would entice me based on the fact its under stamp duty.

First time buyer, slowly looking. There are a few houses we're interested in but am in not a rush to move (unlike the EAs who are calling us daily)0

hi, FTB just about to exchange. We want a home and can afford the house, so are going ahead. Life is too short to hang around in limbo. We've not demanded thousands off the asking price as it was realistically priced compared to others of similar size, but we took some off. depends on the FTB's criteria. We're getting a 3/4 bed house in a good location, so no rush to move if prices come down. It's not worth it to us to hang around for price falls. Especially as mortgage rates are still going up. fixed at 5 years and happy to know that our mortgage is going to be the same as renting for the next 5 years.0

Im a FTB but in no position to take out a whopping mortgage on a house not worth the asking price only to find interest rates go up and the value of my house goes down - not going to do it.
Though i do hate paying my landlords mortgage so the sooner things start to drop the sooner ill be loading my van and moving :j:j:jDFW Total £21,800 to clear by Dec 2022
MFW Total £184,950 £179,066 to clear by 20350 -

No. The asking price is £270k, I am intending to make an opening offer of £230k and am willing to pay up to £250k.
Unless anyone has any better suggestions...?0
