Diesel.
having returned from France I refilled my car on Monday in Luxembourg. it was a pleasant surprise to find that the price of Diesel had been reduced (price fixed by Government) to 97.5 cents€ from €1.00 a week ago.
I hope you all are as lucky. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
No, I think that is one of the main benefits of being in Luxembourg! Enjoy!Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930

Sorry MW - I'm with DS hoping for a good Euro rate for us this summer.
Sitting in a caravan in Cornwall, being buffetted by wind and rain, and someone wonders why we are going to find some sun in a couple of weeks!!

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
My sympathies.
Been to Cornwall. Done that. Was the cause of the restart of family holidays in France when the kids were little. Cost us a fortune entertaining them in wet weather! Cheaper to pay for a ferry - and much easier on the parental nerves!!
(Apologies to any Celtic readers!)
And the pound is holding its own above 1,21€ today!Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930 -
I have not been to Cornwall since before our son was born (he's now 30). It was glorious!(AKA HRH_MUngo)

I wouldn't tackle it with kids either, last time here DS was 7 or 8 in August and we only got onto the beach and him in the sea when we hired him a wet suit it was that cold! We have had some good ones in June before so in reality it is Cornwall's last chance!
