    Hello and welcome slopemaster,
I can not help with your Bank issue, sorry.

However the € sign on a qwerty - on mine hold down Alt Gr and press number 4
    hope that helps.

Very strange the above applies to my desk top but I see on my laptop that it is - hold down Alt Gr and press number 5 (yes 5)

glad to hear that the 4 works for some.
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

Another moneysaving Q for anyone in France:
Does anyone know of a carte bleue which don't have an annual fee?
We pay something outrageous, nearly 50€ I think
    Thanks

Oh! Just had e-mail from a mate in Spain....it was 47.5 C yesterday in our area.

I'm so glad I'm in the cold and rainy UK!

Think you may wish to hang on 'til DS gets back on line in a week or so. Carrots seems quiet too. Re the bank charges. When we bought the house in Spain, the transfer via Currencies Direcr did not cover receiving bank charges, but Moneycorp did. Maybe something similar.

The prediction for the next week or so is for similar high temperatures with high winds. There´s been quite a large fire in the Mojacar area over the past couple of . days. At he moment when you go out of the house it´s like opening an oven door, it´s sooo hot, I don´t know how the cats can walk on the terrace tiles

These are the second bad fires in a few days, the last ones stopped only a few hundred yards from my apartment , the current ones are more serious, not close to my apartment but appear to have damaged the lovely old town of Mojacar Pueblo :(
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
