Around £45 (I think) for cut & blow dry at the Regis salon in Fenwicks. I've had my hair cut by the same stylist for years now.

£35 for a cut and blow dry + £40 for a semi permanent colour (this is at a tiny but brilliant salon in Central London).

I can only afford to do this once every 4 months (£20 in budget for it per month) so I sometimes colour it myself at home in between.

I have been known to go to Toni & Guy Academy for a cheapie cut, but to be honest I just love my usual salon and my stylist (plus it takes half the time it would take at T&G Academy, and I don't have to waste a half-day off work...)

My local village salon cuts and colours my hair (1 colour with foils and the rest whole head) and it is £37.50 and it looks super. To get the same done in the local town it is between £60 and £120:eek:

I pay about £65 every 6-8 weeks for colour (highlights in 2 shades & toner), wash, cut & blow-dry/style, this is in a city. I've been using the same hairdresser for nearly a year now since I graduated (before then, as a student, I dyed it at home & cut it myself!).

I feel it is a bit of an indulgence but worth what I get for that price, the price hasn't changed despite the colouring being slightly different each time, and the stylist is excellent at recommending what colour/cut etc because I don't have a clue about that kind of thing. I also tend to get my eyebrows shaped each visit which is £7.

3 years ago I paid around £130 for a consultation, cut and wonderful lowlights. I usually have long hair and was going from very long to just above shoulders.

It was a BIG change and I wanted to get it right so I booked the top guy at a posh salon in town. He was FAB and spent ages talking about skin tones, age, normal hair colour, lifestyle, different styles etc.

I came out feeling a million dollars and it was perfect so I didn't regret it one bit. Loads of people said I looked years younger!!:T :T

I went for a trim a couple of times and again, they did it beautifully and then I didn't have time so it's grown long again.:o
So I s'pose all that money over 3 years isn't too bad really??

I pay £17.50 for a wash and cut (I don't like hair dryers) in central London.

I have it cut every few months - I have long straight hair, so it doesn't need cutting that often.

It depends on the person cutting it at the hair salon I go to but it's anywhere between £18.50 to £22 for a cut and blow dry. :)

I pay £30 for wash/cut and blow wave. Will only go to one hairdresser and he has been cutting my hair for the last 24 years. He has the same texture hair as me so knows how to cut it. Way back in the eighties we both used to have the same hair cut. LOL
I do know many women who pay £100 for a cut and blow.
My DD2 has just had hers cut and has had highlights put in it. The end price was £150.

A lady after my own heart!

I pay about the same for a cut and blow dry. £50 for pull thru highlights.
C&BD about every 10 weeks and colouring/C&BD scheduled in every 4 months. It works out that I more or less alternate the two.

Been going to the same man since the mid 80's at a suburban hairdressers (no lilac nets! LOL :rotfl: )
He's likely to retire in the next 5 years, I don't know what I'll do then......
