Good afternoon everyone,
Just thought I would pop in and update signature.
Went to MR M yesterday to use my other coupon for £5 off.
Managed to get quite abit for our money which included 2 tins of condensed milk to make some more bounty bites, Some fish that was on offer, steak, etc, so was very pleased.
Managed to get a free loaf using a coupon that was in the sun and got another coupon in my purse.
Total spend £26.55
Also made the ginger nuts that were posted earlier in the thread, OH think they are really yummy. Only made 1 batch and got 20 out of it.'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0 -

Thanks for the recipes,I'm going to sub precooked cauli instead of spinach and add strong cheese maybe parmesan to see if I can get a combo going.
Have written out next weeks shopping list to find I'll only need 5 items -:j
eggs,bread,sweetcorn,cucumber,butter.
Received an invitation to inauguaration supper on Tuesday at our new Supermarket Eroski ,this will mean we can have a picky tea and a good look at the prices before opening.
I will take my comparison chart with me to see what is better value / cheaper than Lidl and Consum.Haven't managed to source yeast yet so will make an effort to look tomorrow when I go to Murcia shopping at Primark with neighbours. There is a big supermarket there but I'll only buy yeast if they sell it.
Am down to my last 2 teaspoons of coffee but will not buy any until next week so it's hot water for me all the way.I have 6 litres of milk and 3 boxes of cereals, croissants and baking ingredients so that'll see us through the week.
Will also make the pastryless quiche again to freeze in portions for my lunches.

Went to a car boot sale today and on the way out couldn't resist stopping at the fruit and veg stall and buying 2 huge cauliflowers and a butternut squash for £2.50. Cauliflower cheese is on the menu now for dh and also a vegetable curry, and later in the week a butternut squash risotto. yum!Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

I got 2 packs of puff pastry for 20p each and i was wondering what to do with them? One is in the freezer and will be used for a pie. However with the other one i was wanting to do something sweet? Maybe like a cinnamon swirl/twist thing that you get in the bakery. Would any of you lovely people know how to make them:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
