Thanks. I did briefly read that on the leaflet, but i wonder if it will cost me more in fresh fruit than to buy a jar? anyone know? The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter0 -
Well, although I spent some money on a wheelbarrow for DS and some other garden stuff yesterday was actually an unofficial NSD in grocery terms (even though I had ample opportunity lol I walked right by the food shops holding my stare straight ahead   )- gonna add that on, and also try for one today too as was hoping to make all Sundays NSD's. Church in the morning, then will cook/knit in the afternoon so just have to avoid the COOP and garage on the walk home from Church. Gonna walk to save diesel too. Great to hear all your news and tips. Hope everyone is as well as can be. Lovely hear yesterday- courgette plant was loving the sun, but raining this morning
woooheee, added later now at 10.25- the sun is shining!! :T :T :T

Hi there Judellie ..here you go :-
Naan bread recipe- 1tsp dried yeast -I used a grapes sized piece of fresh
- 1tsp sugar
- 1tbs warm water
- 200g plain flour
- 1/4tsp salt -I used 1tsp as bread with to little salt is nasty
- 1/2tsp baking powder
- 1tbs oil
- 2tbs yogurt -I have used Greek and tzatziki when it needed using up(and the tzatziki ones are yummy):p
- 2tbs milk - I found i needed a little more
- mix the 1st 3 ingredients together -if using dried wait 10 mins for it to foam
- throw everything else into a bowl and add the yeast mix
- mix to a dough and need for about 5 mins-if you can be bothered :rotfl:
- cover and leave to rest for about 30 mins.. or until you remember
- cut into 4 and roll out to an oval shape -not to thin mind..mine were about 1/2cm
- place on a greased baking sheet and cover -leave for -well till you feel like it
- whack in an oven for 10-15 mins 140c/275f/gas1 until lightly golden.. don't let them get crispy
2 CUPS PLAIN FLOUR about
1 ½ TSP BAKING POWDER
1TSP SALT
2TSP VEG OIL
¾ CUP WARM MILK
Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl
Whisk milk, oil and salt
Pour into flour -stirring to mix
Once mixed -turned out onto a lightly floured worktop and knead for 2 mins
Cover and leave for 15 mins -it won’t rise but needs to relax
Cut into 8 balls (approx 50g each)
Cover and leave to relax for 10 mins
Roll each one out into a round -approx 8”
Heat a heavy frying pan (preferably cast iron)
Drop in one tortilla and turn after about 2 mins -the surface should bubble -press down with a teatowel (watch you don't steam your fingers )
Place inside a dry tea towel to keep warm whilst you cook the rest
You can freeze the balls of dough -but they will be a little stickier once defrosted -but as a bonus they roll out bigger too-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Well did manage to have a NSD yesterday - & also finally managed to actually plant the bare-root raspberry canes & strawberry plants that I bought ages ago (hangs head in shame). Since the strawberries have flowered & have small strawberries on them, I think it was about time!! The raspberries don't look too clever but I am willing them on. Hoped to tackle the terryifying spuds next, but today have to visit FIL in the hospital so might have to wait on that one till later.
BTW popped into Netto Friday - if you ever need to use Mr Muscle sink unblocker/drain cleaner etc (& I do, sometimes - what with the things DD puts down her sink:eek: ) - in there they had a massive 5l of Mr Muscle drain/sink unblocker for £4.99. It is marked 'for commercial use only' or something like that but I know that must be a good buy as the small bottles are really expensive. HTHNew start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . Long haul DFW #145 : 2011 DEBTBUSTING : £5500 OD GONE, £2000 OD - GONE £93,610.30 cc & loan debt - GONE 27.6.14 FINALLY DEBT & MORTGAGE FREE :happyhear0 -
