NSD for me as I had to wait in for the electricity man to come and change the meter. I couldn't do any washing or baking in case he arrived and turned the electrity off. He was supposed to come between 8 & 1, but didn't arrive until 1.30
    .

I was meant to have leccy man round yesterday to change meter, they didn't turn up by 1 so I called and complained, I'm getting £20 compensation!

I hate it when repair companies etc give you such a large timeframe for them to arrive. I know it suits them but it is a pain in the bum. I waited in for WM repair man today, appt between 8am and 1pm, he turned up about 2 minutes to 1. So the whole morning was wasted and i couldnt take LO to her nursery:rolleyes:

Sorry never used eco balls but was wondering if any one can tell me if they are fragrance free (i am allergic to fragrance and perfume) and can you use them on baby clothes. also where would be best place to buy them, are they economical to use Thanks
Eco balls work by using 'ionic power' to clean and they do not leave a smell. I have used them on DS's clothes since he was about 2 months old, they shift most stains although not all. I bought them locally and the shop is not a chain but if you google them you should find supplies. The box lists the following,
    -safe and economical
    -less harsh chemicals
    -hypoallergenic for skin
    -anti-bacterial
    -no soapy residue
    -free of dye and perfumes
    -won't fade colours
    -not harmful to fibres
    -environmentally safe
    -ideal for septic tanks
    -easy to use
    -no scooping
    -light to carry
    -easy to store
-reusable for up to 1000 washes
    -no need for softeners
    -around 3p per wash
-saves water and electricity as can cut out rinse cycle.
I paid £30 for my three (use all each wash) and they came with refills too.
I have used soap pods too and like them as well but find they do stick inside stuff easily whereas the Eco balls are nice and big. Only disadvantage I have found is that you are supposed to let them dry between uses so if wanting to do one load after another its a slight pain!

Morning all ,can't update my sig as I haven't recieved my receipt from Asda for my online shop delivered on Sunday:mad: so I don't know what I have been charged as their computer went down and I didn't recieve a delivery note.

Anyway I thought I would let you know that smart price 1kg rice is currently 45p online and instore,I Also bought Great scot broth mix 500g for 19p in Asda.
Thanks for that! Ive just amended my Asda order for 6 bags of rice although I bet I won't see any! At least if they sub it I pay no more! Also added 6 tins of tuna as that is always a good standby.
Had a NSD day today as I was working. Must use up the stewing steak in the fridge-going to see what sauces I have-theres loads out in my garage.
My order doesnt come until Monday but theres nothing urgent on there. Trying to get through until friday with no more spending even though Ive still got £30 left. Changed my milk from SS to full cream as Im simply going to water it down in future so I will have 25% more milk for no cost!
Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults
