    Hello again Bob :D
sorry you're having a pants time of it with OH, sometimes it does feel as though one of you is out of step.
Popeye is usually good about things, but he (and the kids) were thinking I was getting obsessed. When he was home at Easter he went a little mad, and our debt increased by £3,000  (Flash presents for his parents 50th, car for DD and fabulous watch for DS1, would have been more if I hadn't become a more canny shopper :o )

But when I started my challenge I told him about my Blogette, and he took to reading it. And I've noticed a change in attitude.:D His car was stolen last month, just as the repayments were about to finish :p and he thought he'd take out another loan and get a better car. After a few days of discussion (I wasn't suggesting he didn't do it, I merely reminded him that he was looking forward to the extra money each month when the loan finished) he came to the conclusion that he could get what he wanted without another loan and he said "After all the work you're doing at home to pay off debts with an extra £20 here and there it seems silly to pay a few hundred in interest when I don't need to" :j :j :j I could have wept :D

I was only writing this long ramble to ask if Mr B knows what you do to keep the family afloat? And would you ever let him see your blog? ooh er.
  • Hi Olive i have been thinking about this..he already knows i write on here and has had looks in the past..worked for a while and then he was back to his old ways.
I don't know what else to say without sounding really bitter about it as i have already written two replies and deleted them.

tough to say what you mean on an open forum in typeface. There's no inflection or subtlety is there?

Hugs anyway. You'll get through this I'm pretty sure.
But if you need me to come over and punch him I'll be happy to - though I'm off on Thursday to visit Popeye, so only a small window available. ;)
  • Insert manic rolling laughing smilie here....hope you have a good time with popeye..insert lewd wink here!

And thanks for the thought..have just been amusing myself on the get rid of cat poo thread on greenfingered forum..sad eh? But very funny!I now have images of cats being spreadeagled by pressure washer..and i am a cat lover! But not of neighbours dirty cats!

  • How about aiming the pressure washer at Mr B? Could be very therapeutic... ;-)
