    That's the top of the cake as you can see frill dropped a bit but not very noticable as i fixed it later.

    How did i do it KC? very carefully....took me about 8.. hours to marzipan and ice it only because i am a faffer and play around with all the details of it..cake was very scrummy and moist BTW, but i may have over boozed it a tad before i went away..*cough* still tasted very nice..as weezl would say nom nom!

    Good grief where do i start?
    largest tier is about 5 hours to bake, knock an hour off for each one..then there is the mixing of ingredients so probably add a bit more on for that approx 30 mins each.
    boozing of said cakes..two weeks minimum
    marzipanning..hour each as has to be smooth
    icing same..plus add abit on for cursing!
    adding bits...eerrrr as long as necessary..maybe 5 hours in my case as thats the worse bit.*gulp*

    I used to bring syringes home for my Mum to inject her fruit cakes with booze!
    ....at least that's what she said!

    Judging by the fumes that were released and danger from nearby naked flames when said cakes were cut I think she was telling the truth
