thought of you today bobiliscious one! Am making a cake for friends day tomorrow and even though its a basic cake costs a bomb! Am doing a "happy as a pig in s***" cake - choc cake with butter filling choc icing with fencing from choc sticks, a sty from after dinner mints and very bad piggies from pink fondant! Recon it costs about 15-20 - should have just got a cheapie but quite enjoyed it plus need to do one for mums birthday in sept (70) so needed a bash. Have you got a good choc sponge recipe per chance?!! Look forward to a photo of yours... phnar phnar!

Hope yoy're having a great day
  • Hi all
wedding went well and cake was really good even though i do say so myself! Hi Miggy hope your mums birthday went well and yes we were at the wedding all day..so fretted about transporting the cake etc. As it was at one venue during the day and at another in the evening..so had to make it so tiers could be re jigged for cutting depending on which one they wanted.
Am very tired and a tad hung over..not from drinking too much but from the tension ..if that makes sense!
Hi taxi and squizz will be popping over to have a look at your diaries.x
Hey ISOM, the cake actually cost me about £56 to make..three tiers and everything so not actually too bad as managed to source a few things at cost.
One of the rellies wants me to make a 50th birthday cake, but i am not so sure as she wants it formula 1 style..

Plant wise courgettes have produced and i am the proud mum of three..aaahhhh

budget wise..blown out of the water so will have to re group on that one!
