Yeh Thanks I looked at the LSE list and Cambridge List, Economics is a traditional subject and fairly respected like the other traditional subjects. All my subjects are now classed as Traditional Subjects and not the Joke or Mickey Mouse ones; These new range of A-level subject do I not only find interesting but they will give me a wider range or options of future Job proespects in a wide range of genres compared to my old A-level options which wouldn't of because I had Mickey Mouse options like Accounting & Business, with Traditional Subjects like Maths & Sociology.0 -
Maths, Physics Chemistry, History etc will not limit your choices by any means - and A levels less so than the degree. I work in an investment bank and there are less people who did accountancy/business in the financial type roles than did other subjects.0

I would favour Politics over Sociology (what does Sociology actually teach you?), and English Lit?
From what I remember it teaches you that: feminists hate men, that Marxists hate the government and feminist Marxists hate the men that run the government.
Don't remember much else TBH, it was a long time ago and I only did sociology (and English lit) because my mum wanted to go to evening classes and wouldn't go on her own.:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
Well I can do a Science A-level because I didn't do Double Science nor a Language because I didn't do French.
But am happy with my new choices and I don't really want to do History because it may get a little boring for me. But am not doing any unaccepted A-levels anymore or the softer unsuitable ones so I think it will be ok when applying at a top university.
Thanks Amit0
