Just rang - they said due to HIGH call volumes theyll have to ring back - I wish Id read about this earlier on. Thanks anyway Martin - hopefull they wont withdraw the offer before I get through.
    ..
  • If you go for it, don't mention the voucher until the very end. It's just taken me 3 go's. The first time I mentioned that the voucher at the beginning only to be told that the computer system was down. The next attempt I mentioned it in the middle and mysteriously the system immediately went down. The third attempt was successful because I mentioned it as an add-on at the very last breath of the conversation... good luck!
  • That's it - they have sussed you Martin!

They have just called me back to say that even though I got an online quote I had to speak to their call centre to enable me to get the M&S voucher. HOWEVER, the system has a problem and I would have to call back tomorrow.

Anyone want to bet that the offer is mysteriously withdrawn by this time tomorrow?

Me too, but moneys money, and if they dangle a carot in front of MSE members well it speaks for it's self, at least I also did the questionaire as well at the end and give them a good feed back. ;) :T

Code on website now changed to ECOM09 - a free first aid kit. You still have to dial in to get it.
  • Friday morning 23 September and the £5 M&S voucher has now been changed on the Pru website to a free first aid kit. The offer code is now ECOM09.

It would be interesting to hear where the original offer was first seen; was it a direct mail shot or an advertisement in the press or on TV?
  • Have just called. As soon as gave the reference number I was told it was a limited offer which has now been stopped.
