I've used Tiscali for close to 2 years and not experienced any issue with them.
I pay for a 1mb service and regularly get upwards of 800k on my line.

Some will have had bad experiences with Tiscali but to flat out say they are rubbish is quite obviously wrong.

I know I am biased here but I have to admit I don't personally think Tiscali is any worse than any other support (all of whom I know of use Indian call centres...). I would personally never touch TalkTalk again even if paid, and I'm getting more and more disillusioned with MadAsAFish at the moment too...
IS there known problem with Tiscali lines for gaming? Not that I know of or at least not one also experienced by other ISPs

Orginally that was the plan

But then i looked at tiscali etc and found that we dont really want SKY as we wouldnt get the value from the TV I have Freeview built into my TV and the extra channels we would get we would not watch enough to get any real value from.

However as were not going to touch tiscali with a barge pole. That option may be back on as the gap in price is closing.

With sky we would get

basic tv with "variety mix"
sky talk
and med broadband
wit line rental

all for £30 ish

Looks like that may be our best bet again then.

yes looks best bet also there is a thread on here with good users offering a code that will get you free sky + so you will get a better deal go there and get a code

Tiscali get more user complaints than all other ISP's put together at ISP Review, they cannot all be wrong.

Many ISP's do not use Indian Call Centres, only the worst ISP's use them.
