the seal around the bottom of my shower door has broken off, so water goes all over the floor when we shower.

Hiya
The best place to ask this would the the In my Home forum which is full of experts and enthusiasts who will be able to help you, so I'll move this post across for you.

This is not so easy. A lot of manufacturers of showers doors will use seals made specially for their own make/style of door.
You really have two choices.
Try to find out who the manufacturer is, then contact them and see if they will sell you a new seal. Maybe the shop where you bought the doors can help you with this.
or
Buy some flat rubber (you can buy this in all sorts of sizes). Then stick this to the bottom of the doors to make your own seal. This is not ideal, but it will work and may be easier to do than finding the specific make of seal for your doors. You can also buy soft hollow rubber tube. This may work for you by sticking it to the bottom of your doors. For strength, you may need to use a couple of small screws up into the bottom of your door if you use this method. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

do u know who made the shower? Mine leaked so i rang the manufacturer...Coram in my case and they sent a pack of two out the next day for £7.500 -
no i don`t, as it was already installed when we moved in and there is no manufacturer mark on the door.0

try looking around a bathroom store to find a very similar one to yours. Then it's just a case of getting someone to order it for you. Independents are usually better in my experience.
Remember though that the door may have been built to a price and may have an Ok seal on it...... Another manufactures seal may fit and be longer lasting.0 -
And dont forget your local glaziers as they keep many different kind of
rubber seals, and they can cut a length of at a cheaper price.0 -
If you're really stuck, remove the broken door and consider hanging a shower curtain just inside where the door used to be.
Realise this is not ideal, but would be better than continued leakage, or complete replacement.CarQuake / Ergo Digital0
