I was gonna say something but i'll probably be evicted from the thread

(it could be a new term to replace the term i use to describe someone who annoys me slighty - think about it!)

    Ahem

    LOL Broclo :rotfl:
I got a big jar of Boots Spa Sea salt scrub recently.....

Ran hot bath, decided to go the whole hog with the spa experience so lit candles, turned off the light put soothing music CD on player on the landing......got into hot bath then had to get out again to find something to prise lid open with as it was stuck fast, opened lid and got back in.

Scrubbed all over, smells divine and I am oh so smooooth..

Decided to get out and clean the bath as there seemed to be rather a lot of oil about.
Hmmm, very slippery and couldn't stand up safely by now or use handles on side of bath as hands were oily too.
Emptied bath then had to yell for DD to pass a towel to put on bottom of bath for a good foothold so I could climb out.
Streaked into bedroom and deposited a smear of oil from upper arm onto matt painted wall, Drat!
Got another towel, wiped off oil from body then found dry bread to try and remove greasy mark from wall.

Scrubbed oil from bath, decided to wear rubber gloves to protect newly moisturised hands from cream bath cleaner, wrecked gloves with oil, threw them in bin.

Ran a fresh bath as I was still feeling greasy, got back in, nearly broke my neck as soles of feet still oily.....
Used a quarter of a bottle of S&G trying to wash off the oil, mmmmm, that orange bodywash smells just like Aqua Manda, remember that stuff?

Couldn't get a lather going with body puff, decided to rinse off with sponge..... now both wrecked. Read instructions on jar again, it said to "relax in the Spa bath"
    Sod this for a lark.

Got out, used yet another towel to scrub myself dry, was past caring about "gently patting skin to remove excess moisture".

Tripped over CD player on landing.
    Ignored loud sniggering from downstairs.
Got dressed, extinguished candles, scrubbed bath out with more cream bath cleaner.
Used lashings of hand cream on sore hands.

Put 3 bath sheets and bath mat into washer and gave sniggering kids a hard stare.
Threw body puff and sponge into bin.
Returned to washer 20 minutes later to find that all the oil from towels had bypassed the door seal on washer and there was now a load of water on kitchen floor....

Anyone want half a jar of Spa Sea Salt Scrub? I think I'm going to take pollsdolls tip and get my sander out. Mine has a vacuum cleaner attachment don't you know? :rotfl:

    Hi Geordie -Lass

So sorry to laugh at your misfortune:o but i read this just before leaving work and was laughing all the way home and still can't stop laughing. Thanks for warning us all!

I find the pink S&G body scrub really greasy but I can usually make it out of the bathroom without holding on to the edge of the room!!! :rotfl:

I previously got a really good body scrub from Boots, it was Orange (possibly from the Barefoot Doctor range) and that did the job and not at all greasy.

Yes I did, but as always I popped them all together to take them home to find the best way to use them. Not realising that it was only valid for that day.
So yes, I got the voucher, but missed out on the product
