I can confirm that the TS Long hair shampoo and conditioner in BLUE for striaght hair did NOT work for me today with acm and PC vouchers! Boo Hoo

    SFG x

PS I used AC voucher first which bleeped(!) SA overrode it, then PC one scanned without bleep, but only conditioner went through for free.

I tried the blue TS products too and the till said "deal not met" I also tried the pink Long hair shampoo and conditioner, again the till said "deal not met":( where am I going wrong?

SA offered to manually void one product as ACM voucher wouldn't work. She asked me which item I'd like free. I showed her the TS PCoupon and said I'd like both free please :rotfl: of course she wouldn't let have both free, so I said I'd leave it. All this faffing around this morning made me late for work (boots it's all your fault for giving me dud vouchers;) ). I'd better not pop into boots on my way to work again. If I lose my job I won't have any money for bootsing:eek:

I have been thinking a bit more for the 342 on Mens No7 stuff.....

I understand the glitch where if you buy two items of the women's suncare that's on BOGOF and the total before the BOGOF clicks in is more than £20 then the till (not necessarily the SA!) will let you have a GWP with it. And of course there's a coupon in the current H&B mag for 200 points for when you buy any N07 suncare.

So...has anyone tried this with the No7 mens 342? Get three products totalling over £20 before the 342 kicks in and get a GWP even when you pay cash less than £20? And of course, there's a 250 points voucher against mens No7 if you've already previously got a Mens No7 GWP....

Take it further. You could combine the two offers and get a mix of suncare and mens No7, yes, and use both coupons? What's the cheapest suncare and men's items? I know it might not be as good as four suncare products on bOGOF, but you could still use the points vouchers and any No7 PC vouchers...

Just a thought for you glitch uber-queens to mull over tonight in bed........oh, and all of my local boots have official GWP signs right next to the 342 signs on the Mens No7, so don't let anyone fob you off with not getting a GWP (either one) with men's No7.

I did something similar last thursday, but I combined 3 vouchers.

    I used the 200pts H&B (tanning/suncare)
    Also 350pts on No7 Washing/bathing (great voucher this :D )
And 250 pts on No7 mens.

Problem is I didnt know then that the GWP would go through on the BOGOF price. So you could get a much better bargain than me.

Just a thought but...could you do:

    2 x lip screen £5.xx (till thinks £11.xx)
    3 x no7 mens face wash @ £6 each

    Total before BOGOF & after 342 = £23.xx

    Then use £5off no7 PC voucher, 200pts NO7 suncare voucher & 250pts WYB mens no7 GWP voucher.

    Total = £18.xx
Gain: GWP, 450pts from vouchers + normal points

    (Hmm...i prefer the 4 x glossy locks (etc) combo!):D

Just spotted this on hotukdeals.com (thanks to the OP there)

    http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1069715&classificationid=1052540&slmRefer=

NIVEA Sun Moisturising Sun Lotion SPF 8 200ml - £5.49 each but goes thro' as BOGOF

Therefore 2 x Sun lotion for £5.49 (obv ex delivery)

(you get 1/2 price on the original price of the sun lotion and then BOGOF)

    HTH:D

    Hi everyone,
I'd love some advice from all you mums out there!
A work colleague has just announced her second pregnancy, and I would like to get her pressie- everyone else will get things for the baby, so I would like to get something for her.
Had a look at Boots in the baby section  (never ventured over there before lol), but could only find a pretty poor selection of sanctuary and med things- only 2 or 3 products in each range  . (And neither of my local branches are doing the med gift bag  ). Are the pregnancy products eg bath soak/ scrub any different from normal versions?

If any of you have any suggestions of what she might appreciate I'd be so grateful. I don't want to spend a fortune (£10 max) but would love to make the most of that budget and get her a special treat. I'm not in the pc club so have no vouchers. If anyone has any ideas, please share them :D

    Thanks in advance x

Tiara, have you thought about a nappy cake? They're just a bit more personalised imo and can be filled with all sorts of oddments (make that clearance items ;))

I know someone on the Boots thread has made one, but there's an example here: #2055 and some above and below it.

All bought from Boots allegedly ;)

Night ladies, it's been a blast :D :rotfl: xxx

The ACM voucher bleeped for me on this combo today :(
Same problem here too with the pink long & curly hair shampoo & conditioner. SA overode the till though however wouldn't try the PC voucher as she didn't think it was for that product, think she thought it would only work on the product pictured (I think it may have worked myself) so didn't scan it and I didn't challenge it.

    Warning on Boots site

Just seen this on the Boots site next to the suncreams. Wonder if they have been having problems. Thought I would post it here, as I have not seen this before when browsing.

Avoid becoming a victim of a Phishing Scam by following these simple rules...
    • Treat all email with suspicion - What you see in the email body can be forged, the sender's address or return address can be forged and the email header can also be manipulated to disguise its true origin.
    • Never use a link in an email to get to any web page. If you must go there, type the URL directly into your browser's address bar.
    • Never send personal or financial information to any one via email.
    • Regularly log into your online accounts - don't leave it for as long as a month before you check each account.
    • Scrutinise your bank, credit and debit card statements and ensure that all transactions are legitimate. If anything is suspicious, contact your bank and all card issuers.
    • Ensure that all of your software is up to date - for instance, if you use Microsoft's Windows, run Windows Update every day when you first connect to the internet. If you use other operating systems or browsers then check daily for patches or updates. Security loop holes are regularly discovered in software and many of these scams have utilised a vulnerability in Internet Explorer.
    • If you must use your financial information online, ensure that you have adequate insurance against fraud.
