    Hello

    i
I got my first H and B mag as my other store never have them but i can't use my vouchers yet as replacement card has not come yet ...unless i ring customers services now do you think they would add them on?

    Thanks everyone
Hi Mrsproudmum. You can still use vouchers without your card. Just ask SA to validate receipts for you. You can then get them added to your card later. HTH

  • Hi pollsdolls I see you bought 2 x Botanics 3 minute deep conditioning hair mask and only used one 250 acm voucher, is there another promotion with this or you could only use 1 acm voucher? TIA.:)

Food for thought!!   Who writes your script?

 The same person that wrote the *Johnny and Fanny Craddock doughnut script when Johnny said: "I hope all your doughnuts turn out like Fannies" :D :rotfl:

    I don't remember it btw, but it's a classic :)

I have a tube of Tri-Aktiline Instant Deep Wrinkle Filler, I paid £24.99 and have used it 3 times but find it makes my eye area itchy. I weighed it on my scales, it says 30g with the lid off(don't know how much the rest of the tube weighs) On the packaging it says 30ml so I don't know how to convert grams to mls. If anyone is interested to swap for a voucher or something else please pm me:D

    cdodd kindly posted that 1g = 1ml so 30 mls = 30g(thank you:D)

I reckon there must be at least 27ml of product left then:D

Why don't you take it back if it irritates your skin. They are very good about taking stuff back that doesn't agree with you. They are the sole stockist of this product so shouldn't even matter if you can't find the receipt.

Wow thanks for that you might be right as I seem to recall years ago taking back a NO7 moisturiser that irritated me and I got a refund. I can't remember if I had the receipt but I suppose it's well worth a try at the price of it:beer:

    Hi Lollyred,
The bmi cards are £1 but there was an error with the offer on the voucher, as Boots is unable to offer half price on 12 weighings. However to compensate for this, the voucher will make the card free and add 400 points onto your ad card, so well worth doing- 400 points on a free spend! The card entitles you to 1 free weighing, and after that you get 10% off.

Thanks for raising this passion as I think you are spot on. :T :T I find that dependant on my style of dressing I am either welcomed or ignored. I too have a lot more disposable income than I have ever had in my life. After raising a large family, my money is now mine to spend as I wish. But the amount of cash I have stays the same whether I am dressing down or dressing up.

I also love to use it to my advantage. :p:p I stopped to look at and admire a beautful display of Narciso rodriguez yesterday. I asked the price and it was £108. The SA was lovely and very helpful, but I think she was surprised when I said I would take it. (will post photo later) Just goes to show we should never judge by appearances;) ;)

    Exactly pollsdolls.

Some of the reps are trying to tap into the wrong spenders imo. Doesn't matter what I wear sometimes, but it usually consists of Barbour and Uggs (I leave the wellies off :rotfl: ;)) so I don't scrimp on clothes - I just look like a bag of rags at times  Suits me though

DD on the other hand, mixes her outfits with Prada and Primark, but I've noticed that if she's in a power suit, she's more likely to be targetted than I am.

But then again, she's not one for walking around with a basket full of clearance items :D;)

Take note you reps, some of us aren't what we seem, and some of us are even doing a bit of "skiing"

So where's this Narciso stuff then? :)

I know exactly what you mean -- as I am usually in Boots after a hard day at the chalk face (i work with challenging primary kids) I am not dressed up and usually have paint on my hands. I too have less demand on my income and could buy most things in Boots without too much thought if I so wished.I really object to the snooty cosmetics reps calling me love in that patronising manner if I ask for a sample of something expensive ! Much prefer JL, at least you are treated well there.

    Well, rant over !

bought the No7 body polish -- not impressed -my skin needs something a bit more heavy duty i think!

I find the best thing for dry skin on legs is to get rock sea salt and mix it with some cooking oil mix them together and rub on your legs. Rinse with water and then pat dry, I know it doesn't smell nice but it works:D
