Yep, that works! And don't forgot a No7 gwp (men's or women's)! To go slightly cheaper, you could get two of the anti-aging face sunscreen spf50 at £10.50 (but BOGOF and the register will think you spent £21 for gift/coupon purposes - so you'll pay £5.50). Depending on who the gift is for and what you know they would use, though, the hair and lip thing makes a nice combo as you're giving more items and the containers are very pretty, lol. There was one other cheapie, but I don't recall what it was.

Oh my god, it was adding the 500 points for premium beauty on for two purchases of diahorrea medicene! Plus the 200 points per £10 spent on healthcare! Shame they've only got one available to purchase now though, that is a serious glitch!

Edit: checked and it hasn't done it for any of the other medications unfortunately :(

lol must be because it starts with dior :p

Was in Boots yesterday and found Listerine mouthwash at Buy 2 for £5. This included the 'Total Care' one which sells at £4.19 in Boots (cheaper elsewhere but not as cheap as £2.50). A good bargain.

That must be good sally06 - the No7 SA recommended it to me  :rotfl: She didn't say whether it was good enough to eat though ;) but it gave me food for thought :D

As for the other reps - I don't avoid them, they seem to avoid me ;) But I suspect I know the reason why: I dress as comfortably as possible (scruffy but comfy lol) but even if I was to get togged up, they've put me off buying in Boots.

They seem to forget that people of a certain age ;) i.e. me lol, have enough expendable income to buy their ranges and I think they misguidedly target the younger customers, who probably have less dosh. Silly really isn't it? :)

Maybe I should walk by with a wad of notes :D

I should stress that this only happens in one large but local store (just in case any Clinique/Clarin/Dior etc SA's are reading and think I'm on a downer with all of them.)

Thanks for raising this passion as I think you are spot on. :T :T I find that dependant on my style of dressing I am either welcomed or ignored. I too have a lot more disposable income than I have ever had in my life. After raising a large family, my money is now mine to spend as I wish. But the amount of cash I have stays the same whether I am dressing down or dressing up.

I also love to use it to my advantage. :p:p I stopped to look at and admire a beautful display of Narciso rodriguez yesterday. I asked the price and it was £108. The SA was lovely and very helpful, but I think she was surprised when I said I would take it. (will post photo later) Just goes to show we should never judge by appearances;) ;)

I know exactly what you mean -- as I am usually in Boots after a hard day at the chalk face (i work with challenging primary kids) I am not dressed up and usually have paint on my hands. I too have less demand on my income and could buy most things in Boots without too much thought if I so wished.I really object to the snooty cosmetics reps calling me love in that patronising manner if I ask for a sample of something expensive ! Much prefer JL, at least you are treated well there.

    Well, rant over !

bought the No7 body polish -- not impressed -my skin needs something a bit more heavy duty i think!

    Hello

well i could not resist goingt to boots today even without my card

thankyou for the no7 buy 2 no7 hair spritz and lip stuff

i got the womens free gift

What do you think of this?

I noticed No 7 do sunglasses, so buying a pair of sunglasses and using the till slpit of half price you should get the free present if the glasses are over £20?That is my first glitch i have noticed woo woo

i am considering going to another boots store for the mens gift but i am not sure i want another 4 suncare itmes grrrr

Does anyone know where the boots designer glasses are kept are they on the sunglasses stands or behind counters or in optician stores as i nevr see any designer ones on the sunglasses stand.
I just got some polarised ones but am not sure i like them yet.

My son kept saying mum hurry up why are you reading everything ten times....lol

I got my first H and B mag as my other store never have them but i can't use my vouchers yet as replacement card has not come yet ...unless i ring customers services now do you think they would add them on?

    Thanks everyone
