Thanks very much for the advice I will ring cs up due to no mention on till receipt

Edited to say phoned cs up really helpful
gave me 700 points on my card due to voucher not printing I thinks thats better then the voucher saving up for the next boots sale thank you again for giving me the advice

No problem chocolatefudge :) but I'd call that a great result as I can't see that many people using the voucher to be honest (unless there's a glitch ;))

I might ring CS up and ask if they'll swap my voucher for 700 points :rotfl:

webbie I was also in boot the other day and was very disappointed that the acm was out of order too.

KJ1980 taught me a good trick...she prints whole lot out, as many of each acm allows, straight after the change over day. Next time I went to my local all 3 machines were out of order, so was a god send! Also, acm tends to spit lots out on future visits of certain vouchers, which means you get tons of some eventually :)

Has anyone been to boots today? Are the acm working?

silly me i ment to wright east midlands. As much as i want a med gwp i think oxford is a bit far. Yes i bet postage would be quite a bit. To say the flagship store is in the midlands my stores are rubbish. I never get anything

Can someone tell me when the mens N0.7 342 started i am going back to my local today to see if they will let me have the 1 i missed out on. I still can't believe i did that. I bought on the 31st of may was it on then?
Think i will have a battle on my hands as some of you know my lovely (not) store and sweet (not) SA'S. I just don't want to look like a plonker and them say with a smug look 342 wasn't on.
I can but try i just rang CS and they said up to the store but gave a ref number and said get them to ring them while i am in store if they refuse. Fingers crossed.

Yes, the 342 was on, on May 31. You can check the small print in the signs at the store to see when it started. If you haven't used the products and they make a fuss, just return them and re-purchase at 342. :)

    thanks liliflower

I have been looking for this as ive had it in my diary to remember and look out for it since I read about it last month. Fabulous thanks for reminding me

    mrs t

I had already made a note to buy it and to remember to pay with points, lol. Even though I *so* don't need another lip gloss, I just can't pass it up!

Edit: I just told my husband about the bargain, and he said "13 quid for lipgloss?!" He kind of missed the point that it's a bargain at 2 because he couldn't believe anyone would pay 13 for it, lol. Actually, I wouldn't pay 13 for it, either, which is why I'll get some with the mag even though I don't need any -- my chance to try it!

That store is the chuffing pits sometimes.

Heck Rubes, if it's the one I'm thinking of, it's not so good lately is it? Hope you don't let it get you down all the same.

Do you think it was because of the printed voucher?

I'll mail or PM rather than ask endless questions, but they must know what a good shopper you are by now?

    Morning Girls

Did a couple of shops using the No7 printed £5 off vocher and 250 points off cosmetics.

Got nail varnish handed over 250 pts then £5 off had £1.50 no problems. Was about to do second transaction and realised I had picked up a nail strengthener rather than a top coat. SA got No7 SA so I toddled off back to No7 counter:eek: .

I got T&G MM, No7 Top Coat and a bottle of diet coke.

ACM voucher for MM went through fine, No7 points voucher went through fine. Then I handed over printed £5 off No7 vocher. Sa scanned in and went through fine so paid £5.25. The SA stared, stared and stared at this voucher. I paid and she still stared at it I thought ok she maybe hasn't seen one before. Left the counter with her still staring at it. Starting to do a bit more shopping and bumped into the No7 SA down one of the aisles heading to the office with my vouchers in her hand.

So obviously she is off to find out more or report me/complain about me. I haven't done anything wrong but I'm fuming. If she had a problem why didn't she say something to me at the till and ask where the voucher had come from.

This shop there are plenty of SA's who create problems and it gets beyond a joke.

Do I ring CS and tell them that I think she is reporting me/complaining about me. I don't understand why she had all 3 vouchers in her hand:confused:

That store is the chuffing pits sometimes.

I wouldn't worry. Thing is, most stores won't accept photocopies of vouchers but of course it's very difficult to tell just by looking whether a single-use voucher has been scanned and printed out (in effect, a photocopy) or are perfectly legitimate printed e-vouchers, which you can use multiples of.

The SA probably was staring at the code on the bottom of the voucher, which would naturally be the same on all three. If she wasn't familiar with the voucher then she was probably taking them to the office to see if there was a current e-voucher she hadn't been told about. She obviously wasn't certain as otherwise she would have refused the vouchers after the first one you used.

Seems fair to me! Boots are reputedly very strict with staff that screw up once too often at the tills so it seems reasonable of her to check things she's not sure about. It's a perfectly legitimate e-voucher anyway so multiple use is okay. Don't get too paranoid is my advice!

Or the SA might have been writing her shopping list out? ;)
