    Hi Kitiaracat,
Whereabouts in the midlands do you go Bootsing?
I'm in Oxford and there are both gwp's here if that's any help - would offer to post but the med one is v heavy!

silly me i ment to wright east midlands. As much as i want a med gwp i think oxford is a bit far. Yes i bet postage would be quite a bit. To say the flagship store is in the midlands my stores are rubbish. I never get anything

Can someone tell me when the mens N0.7 342 started i am going back to my local today to see if they will let me have the 1 i missed out on. I still can't believe i did that. I bought on the 31st of may was it on then?
Think i will have a battle on my hands as some of you know my lovely (not) store and sweet (not) SA'S. I just don't want to look like a plonker and them say with a smug look 342 wasn't on.
I can but try i just rang CS and they said up to the store but gave a ref number and said get them to ring them while i am in store if they refuse. Fingers crossed.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)
Want to be fit for 30 not fat at 30

Went to the Piccadilly branch this morning and got the mirror for £19.99. It had a proper 4x6 label on it so it looks like a national reduction.

Tried to use the 5 printed voucher, SA said no, doesn't count as make up. Also tried the voucher on the reduced lipgloss, till beeped and she read the T&Cs very carefully and said no (was hoping she'd override it). Worth a shot anyway!

Paid with points () but at least I didn't spend any money so I feel a bit better.

Forgot to add, I took my 100% gorgeous bag to carry it to work, doesn't fit! It's huge so I've been bashing people's legs on the tube this morning, sorry!

How long had she had them???

My friend's GHDs croaked last year and she'd had them a fair while, she spoke to GHD and they replaced them free of charge. So, even though she has some new ones already it may be worth giving them a buzz if she still has them - they're alot of money to go on fire!! x

thing is her OH took them apart to try to fix them! he reckons he did but she refused to use them anyway (dont blame her :o )

she had them for a good few years though so well over the warrenty

Haha, I don't blame her either!! They're normally really good with taking stuff back and exchanging after the warranty, I've found - bit late now though!

Ohhh, and does anyone know where they've moved clearance to at the Merry Hill store!?!? I couldn't for the life of me find it! x

Feeling a bit despondant as been to two Boots recently an neither have the ACM working. Is this something worth ringing CS over? Especially as today was a special trip with shopping list!

    Managed to get:
    NC strawberry bubble bath £1.00
    NC GWP bag £0.00
    No7 Top coat £1.25 (with £5 voucher)
No7 blue/grey eyeliner (not seen this colour before) £2.00 (voucher)
No7 emerald liquid eyeliner £3.50 (with £5 voucher)

Saved £22 - spent £7.75. Only got 40 points as no ACM vouchers!!
    DFW No. 344
Proud to be dealing with my debts!!:T

Haven't found any on my last couple of visits :( I'm sure they're saving up for a super mega clearance for us ;)

Did you find any bargains there?

webbie I was also in boot the other day and was very disappointed that the acm was out of order too. I am going bootsing today to see if I can get some of the tommee tippee reduced monitors that someone reported on as I desperately need monitors.

Has anyone been to boots today? Are the acm working?

  • I bought 3 packs of L'Oreal Casting hair colour in clearance section yesterday. They were £2.50 compared to standard price of £5.99 (though currently £4.99 anyway but my usual colour being discontinued I think). Till rang up £4.50 and I said "No they're £2.50" and SA said it was £4.50 for the lot because "they were on offer". Paid happily and scooted back to shelf to see if they were on offer and they're not. How strange! But I got my favourite hair colour for £1.50 a box instead of £5.99. Result!
